Support

We are a small studio. Email reaches a person, and we answer.

We aim to reply within two working days. Please include your device model, your OS version and — if it is about an order — the order number.

A question about an order that has already been placed — it is late, something is missing, an item was substituted, you want it cancelled — is usually fastest with the shop itself. Shops on Bazaar are independent businesses; they hold the stock, do the packing and make the delivery. The shop's phone number is on the order screen. Come to us for anything about the app.

Common questions

My sign-in code never arrived

The code is an SMS, so it needs signal rather than data — check that the number you entered is the one in the phone, and that the message has not landed in a spam or promotional folder. Give it a minute before asking for another; requesting several in quick succession is rate-limited. Codes expire after a few minutes, so use the newest one if more than one arrived. If nothing comes at all, email us with the number and we will look at the delivery log.

Do I need an account just to look around?

No. Browsing shops and products, and filling a basket, work with no account at all. You are asked to sign in at checkout, because an order needs a phone number and an address to arrive at.

Why does it want my location?

To show the shops near you. It asks for approximate location only — never a precise GPS fix — and uses it to pick the nearest town with shops in it. Decline it and you can pick your town from a list instead; nothing else changes. There is no location tracking and no background location access.

No shops appear for my area

Bazaar only lists shops that have signed up, so coverage is town by town rather than nationwide. If nothing shows for your town, we have not reached it yet. Tell us where you are and we will note it — and if you run a shop there, we would like to hear from you.

How do I pay?

Cash on delivery. You pay the shop when the order arrives. The app takes no payment, stores no card and holds no UPI ID.

How do I change or cancel an order?

Contact the shop — its number is on the order screen. Once a shop has started packing, whether a change is still possible is the shop's call, not something the app can force.

The price in the app was different from what I was charged

Prices, offers and MRP come from the shop and can change. If what you were charged does not match what the app showed at checkout, raise it with the shop first, and email us the order number if it is not resolved — a mismatch that is our bug is one we want to see.

How do recurring deliveries work?

Some shops offer packs on a schedule — a daily milk round, for instance. You pick the plan and the days, and the shop delivers against it. You can pause or stop it from the subscription screen, and deleting your account cancels any active subscription.

Can I use the same account on two phones?

Yes. Sign in with the same phone number and your addresses, orders and subscriptions are all there — they live on the server, not on the device. Your basket is per device.

How do I delete my account and my data?

Follow the instructions at arivaatral.com/bazaar/delete-account — it is an email request and it works whether or not you still have the app installed. That page sets out exactly what is deleted and what is kept, and why. A delete button inside the app is coming in a future update.

I want to list my shop on Bazaar

Email sheikalthafdev@gmail.com and tell us where you are and what you sell. The shop side runs on our point-of-sale software, which is a separate product to this app.
